TWO: Census 2021 reminder

A reminder regarding the 2021 Census, if you have not yet completed yours then someone WILL be in touch, so be ready, or complete the info online using the info sent in the post to every household.

THREE: Catalytic converters theft

There has been several items of good news regarding the thefts of catalytic converters, a number of local police operations, swoops etc has resulted in several arrests, recovery of large quantities of stolen items and assorted tools for use in these thefts.  Combined operations across a number of police areas has resulted in this success.  Remain vigilant, consider the police advice available and consider security marking, some manufacturers are making this available through their dealerships.

FOUR: ASPRA AGM

The ASPRA 2021 AGM will be held on Zoom on 29th April, let ‘me’ know if you wish to be sent the link when it is made available.  Unfortunately, the Lucozade will have to be virtual!  Agenda and reports available here.

FIVE: Support Autism awareness month

April is autism awareness month. Emma and James from Addiscombe Fruit and Veg have this subject very close to their hearts.

From TUESDAY 6TH APRIL UNTIL FRIDAY 30TH APRIL they will be doing a RAFFLE in support of resources for St Nicholas special educational needs school, and both of the family businesses (Addiscombe Fruit and Veg and Vic Gibson butchers) and their teams will be involved!

1st prize: £60 BBQ HAMPER (includes meat for the bbq from Vic Gibson butchers, a whole load of salads  as well as corn on the cobs, lemons, limes, pineapples and other fruits as well as fruit juice)

2nd prize: £30 BBQ HAMPER (includes meat for the bbq from Vic Gibson butchers, a whole load of salads from us as well as corn on the cobs, lemons, limes, pineapples and other fruits as well as fruit juice)

** £1 PER TICKET ** available from 6th to 30th April from Addiscombe Fruit & Veg, when the prizes will be drawn.
